The Gandaki Province has announced a job advertisement on 28th November 2024 for technical and non-technical positions at the fifth level of the provincial and local services. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications can apply through the online application system at http://onlineppsc.gandaki.gov.np.
The selection process for these positions will follow the Gandaki Province Civil Service Act, 2079, and the Local Service (Formation and Operation) Act, 2079. The examinations will be held simultaneously for both the provincial and local services, and those who pass will be recommended for appointment based on their preferences to the respective provincial and local bodies.
Positions and Number of Vacancies:
Technical positions: 104 vacancies
Non-technical positions: 60 vacancies
Minimum Qualifications:
Sub-Engineer in Civil Engineering, General/Sanitary/Irrigation Engineering: Must have a certificate in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Technical Assistant in Agriculture/Plant Protection/Plant Development/Agricultural Economics and Marketing/Horticulture: Must have completed an I.Sc. Agriculture degree or an SLC/TSLC with a diploma in agriculture (major in plant science) or a 1-year JT (Agriculture Science) course from a recognized institution.
Veterinary Technician/Animal Health Technician: Must have an I.Sc. Agriculture degree (Animal Science) or an SLC/TSLC with a diploma in agriculture (major in animal science) or a 1-year JT (Animal Science) course from a recognized institution.
Forest Ranger: Must have a certificate in forestry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution, focusing on silviculture, forest resource measurement, and forest management.
Soil Conservation Assistant: Must have a certificate in forestry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Assistant Botanist (Forest/Botany): Must have a certificate in biology (botany) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Technical Assistant in Education/Administration: Must have a certificate in education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Staff Nurse (Health/General Nursing): Must have a certificate in nursing from a recognized institution.
Public Health Nurse: Must have a certificate in nursing from a recognized institution.
Kaviraj (Ayurveda): Must have a certificate in Ayurveda from a recognized institution.
Health Assistant: Must have a certificate in general medicine from a recognized institution.
Medical Record Supervisor: Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in statistics or mathematics from a recognized institution.
